“Being the 2007 Steve Smith scholarship recipient has been a blessing. Not
only did it help me financially but it also gave me the opportunity to have
a relationship with Steve and his partners. Knowing that I have someone who
believes in me and is willing to assist me with anything that can benefit to
my success in college, motivates me to want to do better. The SSSfund gives
me the opportunity to network with the other scholarship recipients, which
allows them to give me advice since they have been where I am now. Now I am
able to give my knowledge to those coming behind me, thanks to Steve Smith
for instilling in me the importance of giving back.”
