My name is Latonja Johnson; I was the first recipient and first graduate of the Steve Smith Scholarship. I graduated from Pershing High school in 2000 and attended Michigan State from 2000-2005. I currently reside in Detroit, MI and I work for RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company as a territory manager.

In my spare time I like reading, traveling and hanging out with my family. I plan to attend Phoenix University this fall to obtain my MBA in human resources. It has been an honor knowing Steve and I can’t thank him enough for the opportunity he gave me.
