7th Annual Mid-Michigan Steve Smith Charity Challenge Announced

LANSING, MI—The MSU Alumni Club of Mid-Michigan’s 7th Annual Steve Smith Charity Challenge will be held June 26, 2006!

The golf outing will take place at Walnut Hills Country Club in East Lansing, Michigan. All proceeds from this years outing will support the St. Vincent Home for Children of Lansing, Michigan, The Steve Smith Scholarship Fund, and the MSU Alumni Club of Mid-Michigan.

A dinner and awards ceremony, including silent and live-auctions of various sports memorabilia, gifts, and vacation packages, will follow the 18-hole four-person golf scramble. Many special guests, including MSU varsity coaches, members of the MSU Board of Trustees, and Steve Smith himself, will attend the day’s events.
